Two Things to Show You

This is another of my thrift store finds and I will post a photo of the bottom as we usually see that stamp "Made in Japan" or "Made in China" but this one is not like that. We have a larger Japanese and Chinese community here so I assume that someone purchased it there at a local shop and to me that makes it so much more special. Does anyone know how to read this? Don't you think that it's beautiful? A great $8.00 find.

I really like to read Attic24's Blog and she did these cool things with houses as they have lived in their house for one year. So Last night I was going through and old quilting magazine and saw a house that I wanted to make. I stayed up and made one square. I would not put the same fabric strip across the front but I love this block and I think that I may work on a quilt or wall hanging of these houses.

I hope that everyone is having a great day. It has been snowing here on and off all day but not sticking. It's getting colder and since we're not used to it being so cold it just goes to the bone! I hope to have a computer when I go home. I guess that it really got hit hard. If it can't be fixed then I will be shopping tonight!!

This is a pair of the earrrings that I made for the craft show. The first person that tells me what the hats originally were will win a prize.

I still don't have my computer but I walked over to the office so that I could get rid of the food and use the computer. I remembered to bring my camera so that I could download some photos.

Computer

Okay so the computer is still not working. I thought that I could just reload all of the software but the computer won't let me so I have brought it into work and I hope someone can help me. I have to come here and then people want me to work and I'm on vacation. I have some neat things to show you once I'm up and running. I really miss not being on here and especially what other people are doing. I am trying to catch up on some things and Amy I finally sent off your items with more and Jacquie I need your home address. I used to have it but I'm not sure where it is. I have a couple of more things after that to mail and I hope to be totally caught up. Pray that my computer gets fixed!! Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!

Computer Still Out

Okay, I'm staying late at work tonight so that I can post a message. I am still alive and kicking but my laptop is still messed up. I'm going to reinstall the software tomorrow and see if that works. I've missed reading all the Blogs that I follow. There isn't much going on but I will be home on vacation next week. I hope to get a lot done and to post some of the crafts that I've been doing.

Computer Problems

Just to let everyone know - I'm having computer problems at home and it's hard for me to post. I hope to have it fixed soon. Judy

What I've been doing

I'm still not feeling 100% but I'm doing much better. I've been working on craft show items and it will be a relief to have it done! I do have the art teacher from school and her daughter putting some items in. That will help fill the tables.

Halloween was here and the girls dressed as American Dolls. Josie on the right is wearing a bonnet that my aunt wore to work outside. My aunt made these bonnets and this is the only one that I got. On the left Kat is Samantha and on the right Josie is Kristen. At this age American Dolls is BIG! They had a great time on Halloween and then the next day Josie on the right had her 9th birthday party! Lots of kids, noise and fun.

I hope to get back on schedule with the Blog this week-end as I so enjoy this and also read so many others.

Today is my long day at work and last night I got home at about 9:30pm. I had to read 3 chapters of Ezra this morning and a couple chapters of another book for our bible study this morning. Pretty cool that I work at a church and there is no problem with a bible study of course. You couldn't do that just anywhere now days.
