I went for an early morning walk to take some photos and see downtown without all the people and cars. So quiet and very beautiful. I work with people all day and when I have the opportunity I just want quiet. I think this is an older thing as I haven't always been like this.

I'll tell you about some of my photos - this one on the bottom left is the sun coming up and I think it's going to be a beautiful day.

The one on the left at the top is a leaf and stems of grass with droplets of water clinging to them.
The one on the right is a spider web that is part of a window box in front of Smith's Row which is the nicest restaurant in town and one of my favorites for lunch.
This is Saturday so I need to start laundry, sew, put the electric blanket on the bed as I'm not turning on the heat. Why do we have do to do the drudge stuff so that we can have fun and sew? I'd like to be able to sew all the time and think of things to make. Oh Well!! :)
Hope your day is beautiful and that the sun shines on your shoulders and that you have the opportunity to play.

Bucket List

Do you have a "Bucket List" or do you just dream? I think that I'm going to start a list and not just keep it in my head. I know there are so many places that I want to go so I guess I'll start a "Travel" one first.

Thursday

Yesterday was my long day (13.5 hrs) and I'm tired this morning. I'm drinking some Java so maybe that will help. What do you do when someone won't listen but thinks that they have all the answers? Sometimes I deal with someone that is like this and no matter what I say or do there is no listening. I think that I'm opinionated but I also listen to other people and I think that there are times that I am able to change my opinion. Does anyone else ever have this problem? What do you do? How do you deal with "Oak Trees" and help them become a little more like "Willows?" That is my thought for the day. This may be a hard day as there may be some surprises on the horizon.

Back to Work

Today I go back to work and I'm excited but also sad. I will have to leave my fabric and sewing machine and sewing will slow waaaay down! I feel so good when I'm creating and choosing fabric. For me that is more fun than the finished product. I started Prayer Minister training last night and this will be a very intense class with homework!!

I've been organizing a Women's Retreat in October so I will be able to work more on that. I'm excited as we will be back in the woods in Brown County (Nashville Indiana). We're doing the study Character Makeover by Katie Brazelton and Shelly Leith. Check it out as we all have things that we need to improve or change. This could be the book for you. I'll let you know how it goes.

I need to get ready for work and when I came home last night it was very chilly. I don't look forward to winter. But I love fall weather with the colors, crispness and the energy it instills in us. Have a GOOD DAY!!

New Blog

These are my latest creation for the craft show we're doing on November 8th. Have we ever done a craft show? NO! But it's going to be okay as we have to succeed. The money will be used for our trip to Toledo Brazil next year. Maybe people will feel sorry for us. :)
Today is the first day with this new blog and I like how easy it was to put together. I hope to share things with you that will be of interest and also I have some very cool Blogs listed. A lot of talent.
I have to clean up around here as this is my last day of vacation. I was suppose to go to Wisconsin but due to some tests I had yesterday I didn't. I miss not being able to get up there and if you've never been to Madison Wisconsin then put this city on your list. Beautiful scenery, lakes, dining, nite life, etc. Try to be there on a Saturday for the Farmers Market on the square.
Gotta Clean!! Don't want to but I have to! I would much rather play with fabric.
See Ya!!!!
