Revamped Lamp Using Paint

These are poor photos because it's evening.  I'll try to take a better one tomorrow as you may want to update your lamps!!Okay my photos are backwards!  The white lamp was purchased at an auction and I thought it should be updated.  I spray painted it black and it now looks amazing!!  There are two lamps and I still have to do the other one.  I'm also working on some shelf's for my granddaughters room as they need a place to put more of their stuffed animals.  In their room between the two of them they must have 300!  They are stuffed in those corner nets and there are so many on their beds that there is just room for them.  I hope you liked the lamp and I'm working on several items so there will be more.  Including more garage sale stuff that was still in the van!  That's not good so I may need to stay away from the garage sales.  They are always the best here in spring and fall.

Some of my Garage Sale Finds Today!

This is an American Girl item still in the cello and never opened.  The original price was $24.95 and I got it new for $2.00!!  This is a Christmas Gift!This purse was new and $1.00This had a tag of $8.00 but they sold it to me for $5.00 and it's for my granddaughters to get rid of energy!

American Girl books 50 cents each and are Christmas Gifts!!I want to cut out all sugar and I have lost a size since January so I thought Sugar Busters would help.  Has anyone read it??  Send me an e-mail.  The other book French Women Don't get Fat has been on my want list and each of these books were 50 cents each.

I had other items that I stopped and gave to the girls.  I found winter scarfs (one crocheted) for 10 cents each.  Two other American Girl books and I did pay $1.00 each.  I purchased 6 Hostas and 4 daisy plants for $4.00.  There is a wooden side table that I'll show you later and two yes two more bags.  I love bags!!!

I hope you too had a great shopping day and found a lot of bargains.  Let me know if you post as I love to see other peoples bargains!  I was going to say that I don't want anyone to think I'm bragging but I guess I am.  But maybe we can say that I'm sharing information!!  :)

Prizes were mailed and I'm so happy to send a gift to the UK but the post office makes it such a pain!  They want to sell you everything in there and I wasn't interested in buying!  I am very excited for each of you to get your packages.  I'm so excited to get mine. 
I went to some garage sales this morning and I did pretty good.  I have it in the car yet as I had to take a break.  But I'll get it out and take some photos and mow the grass!!  It's suppose to be up in the 80's tomorrow so I want to do it while it's cool.
I hope to have a better post tomorrow and lots more photos!!

May Give Away Prizes I'm Giving Away
