Quilt Show at Church

All of these are very old and you can see that by the fabrics.  My camera did a terrible job and the lightning was not good.  The quilting was amazing and all by hand.  I'll post more another day.  Enjoy these photos. 

Girl's and their Cats

I'm trying something out this morning that I haven't done before and I thought I would share it.  I love the collages but did not have a computer before that was powerful enough to do this.  I want to do some larges ones that I can frame.  This is a test run to see how it will look and I also hope to post another quilt show that I went to.  Some very old quilts and fabrics.  The photos are not the best because of the very poor lighting but they are worth sharing.

Smokey Mountains in Tennessee

These are my friends photos but I ended up with them and I thought I would share the beauty of these mountains.  These photos were taken with a regular camera so they do not do justice to the awesome beauty.  They were taken in the fall of 2009 at the start of the leaves changing.  Just think what they would look like when they are in full color.  Awesome sight!  Today it's very chilly, wind blowing and dreary.  A good day to get things done inside.  When I get to the photos I'll show you some before and after photos of some items that I have been redoing.  Have a great day!!

New Computer

I have a new (refurbished) computer and I can now get on my blog again!  I haven't even been able to get on from work because of all the blocks they have.  I don't have photos yet but I will work on how to down load them and then I have some before and after things to show you.  I have been busy.  I've been keeping up with some of my favorite Blogs and I'll let you in on some really good ones (at least I think so). 
I have lots of catching up to do and we'll do that soon and I hope that I don't have any more problems getting on here!  I'll be back soon!!

Happy in Quilting is having a year long challenge!!

you may still be able to join in this challenge.  The rules are there and I'm thinking that this will be easy as I only have to finish one thing a month.  Then I'm thinking how difficult this has been in the past.  I'm in a new house with a new sewing room and I can do this.  I want to do this!!  When I get home or tomorrow then I will post some unfinished projects that need to be completed!!  For now I think I have finally figured out my problem on Blogger and I will hopefully be able to start posting some photos.
